The The NOC Analyst is responsible for working with multiple teams to ensure a timeliness of restoration of services during outage situations. Conduct continuous monitoring and reporting of issues in the plant and headend using the necessary metrics and tools.


• Excellent oral communication skills, writing and presentation skills

• Ability to interact across teams in a professional, articulate manner

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Multitasker/ Technical experience as well a knowledge of cable plant operations

• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (if needed)


A NOC Analyst requires either a bachelor’s degree with qualifications in network engineering or equivalent telecommunications related field


Includes, but is not limited to:

• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues using various software monitoring programs

• Alarm handling and escalation to proper department

• Resolving and or communicating service/revenue impacting network and plant issues

• Communicating with multiple departments and 3rd party teams

• Use multiple different programs to direct/alert the Headend and Outside Plant Teams to appropriate issues and areas to work

• Work with remote technicians to install/troubleshoot services

• Assess situations and trends to proactively detect issues and address them accordingly
